If you've been wondering how much grillz cost, the honest answer is: it depends on the material, how many teeth you want covered, and how custom you go. The good news is there's an option for almost every budget. A single silver cap starts at $150, a gold tooth starts at $300, and full sets go up from there to fully iced-out diamond pieces. Below is a clear breakdown of our 2026 prices, plus the factors that move the price up or down.

What Affects the Price of Grillz?

Four things drive the cost of any custom grillz:

  • Material: silver is the most affordable, gold is the classic mid-to-premium choice, and diamonds are the top tier.
  • Number of teeth: a single tooth costs far less than a full 6-, 8-, or 10-piece set.
  • Customization: enamel designs ($250 per tooth, any color), patterns, and stone settings add to the price.
  • Diamond quality: diamonds are priced per stone, based on clarity (SI, VS, VVS, or Flawless).

Every piece is molded to your exact teeth, so a quick consultation is the only way to get a firm number. The prices below will get you close.

Silver Grillz Cost

Silver is the best entry point. It gives you a bright, modern shine at the lowest price, and it's a popular first set. Once you go past two teeth, sterling silver works out to about $95 per tooth.

Set Price
1 cap $150
2 teeth (connected) $190
3 teeth $285
4 teeth $380
6-piece $570
8-piece $760
10-piece $950

Gold Grillz Cost

Gold is the classic grillz look, and it's available in yellow, white, and rose gold. You can start with a single tooth and build up to a full set later. After the first tooth, each additional gold tooth adds about $200.

Set Starting price
Single tooth $300
2 teeth $400
3 teeth $600
4 teeth $800
6-piece $1,200
8-piece $1,600
10-piece $2,000

These are starting prices. Karat (the purity of the gold) and design complexity can change your final quote.

Diamond Grillz Cost

Diamonds are the premium choice. They're priced per stone, so your total depends on how many stones your design uses and the clarity you pick. Colored stones are available in all colors.

Clarity Price per stone
SI $30
VS $40
VVS $50

Permanent vs. Removable Grillz: Does Cost Differ?

Removable grillz can be taken in and out, and they're priced by material and number of teeth, as shown above. Permanent dental gold is a fixed, everyday option fitted with dental support. Because the process is different, the pricing is different too. See our permanent dental gold page for details, or ask for a quote during your consultation.

Do You Offer Payment Plans?

Yes. We believe luxury should be accessible, so we offer several ways to pay:

  • Low monthly payment plans through our financing partners, so you can spread the cost over time.
  • Afterpay and major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, and more).
  • Cash deals available at our locations.

To start your custom piece, we take a deposit upfront to cover materials and design. The remaining balance is due at your final fitting, or before shipment for mail-in orders. Since grillz are cosmetic, we don't accept dental insurance or HSA/FSA payments. That's why we keep flexible payment options available.

Mail-In and Mobile Options

Not near one of our studios? Order a mail-in mold kit for $75 (nationwide shipping; $100 overseas), take your mold at home, and we'll craft and ship your custom grillz anywhere. Prefer we come to you? We also offer a mobile grillz service for an added fee.

A single silver cap at $150 is our most affordable option. For gold, a single tooth starts at $300.
